Living the Promise Ministries
was founded by Elder Clarence Griffin and his wife Andrastea as God launched them out to a land that would be completely unfamiliar to them both. God had spoken to Elder Griffin and informed him in advance that what he and his wife were destined to be sent out to a foreign land for His name sake. It was then that God had made everything clear to him as to why he and his wife had to go through what they were going through. Elder Griffin originally from Houston,TX. was in a foreign land without friend or relative. His wife on the other hand, was from the land, yet seemed to be a blacksheep, being estranged from family and having few friends. As they met together in their wilderness, God said now together they had to go to yet another foreign land together because they were equipped for it, reside their and wait on farther instruction. Quickly after uniting in Holy matrimony, everything changed. Their jobs changed, their family changed, friendships changed, their location, and in God they begin to increase to another level in Him that would prepare them for his work. Out of that, they were launched from Illinois to Maryland where God gave them the name, World Vision International Ministries and instructed them to lead the lost into destiny. There they were feed by the ravens and taught by the Spirit of God to yet be prepared for something even greater. As the year passed around God spoke and shifted them again to yet an even higher place in Him and to another location in the region only this time it wasn't foriegn, but it was home. Now headed back to Houston Texas, God began to show them the path they had made. It had now become clear that they had to go where they had to go, to learn what they had to learn, to come back and get them they had to get; A people of purpose, and direct them into destiny. What better way to lead than to lead by example God told him. It was then God gave him a new name, Living the Promise, and instructed him to go and get a people of purpose and show them, how to live the promise.
